Usage Rights and Restrictions
This page explains the licensing terms for content created using Stencil AI, as well as the open-source licenses and third-party components used in our service.
All paid tiers (Hobby, Pro, Studio) include commercial use rights. You own the stencils you create and can use them commercially in your projects. However, reselling or redistributing the stencils themselves as standalone digital products is prohibited across all tiers.
Stencils generated with a Hobby subscription are licensed for:

Stencils generated with a Pro subscription include:
Note: You can print and sell 10,000 t-shirts with your stencil design, but you cannot sell the stencil file itself to others.

You retain full copyright ownership of any original images you upload to our service. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process these images solely for stencil generation purposes.
Generated stencils are derivative works based on your input images. You own the rights to these stencils subject to the license terms above and your subscription level.
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights to any images you upload. Do not upload copyrighted images without permission from the copyright holder.
Stencil AI is built using various open-source libraries and components. We acknowledge and thank the open-source community for these valuable tools.
